Description
Druggets are a wool version of India dhurry rugs (dhurries are made of cotton). Gustav Stickley imported and promoted these durable wool flatweaves, called ‘India Drugget Rugs’, in his New York store as well as in his publication ‘The Craftsman’ from 1901 to 1916.
Our Craftsman druggets are made of premium quality New Zealand carpet wool on a cotton warp. Weft-faced and reversible, they feature hand-bound ends and selvedges—no fringes—for simplicity and the ultimate versatility.
